We’re happy to help! If you’re exploring options or need more information before submitting a formal Request for Services, please complete our general conference inquiry form. You’re also welcome to call us at 402-472-3355 or email conferenceservices@unl.edu.
Please note that the inquiry form is intended for general questions and information only. To formally request space and services for your event, you’ll still need to complete our official Request for Services process.
2027 TIMELINE
- October 14, 2026: Request for Services for the summer of 2027 opens
- November 13, 2026: Priority deadline for Request for Services process
- January 29, 2027: Contracts sent to all clients that submitted preferred dates by priority deadline
- February 15, 2027: Return date for all issued contracts
- Late March 2027: Clients receive communication from Conference Services to schedule a meeting in April with their Conference Services liaison to review all services prior to the summer
- First half of April 2027: Conference Services conducts client meetings
- May 23, 2027: First day of residence hall availability
- May 23, 2027: First day of dining hall availability starting with breakfast
- August 6, 2027: Last night of residence hall availability
- August 7, 2027: Last day of dining hall availability ending with lunch
PRIORITIES
Requests for Services will be processed in the following order:
1st Priority: Submitted by priority deadline, and requesting same dates for 2027 as 2026.
2nd Priority: Submitted by priority deadline, and requesting different dates for 2027 as 2026
3rd Priority: Submitted by priority deadline, but did not use our services in 2026
4th Priority: Request for Services submitted after priority deadline will be reviewed on a first come, first served basis.

*All rates are subject to change at the discretion of Conference Services staff and are not guaranteed until confirmed by a signed agreement or contract.
- Short-term rates apply to all stays of 20 nights or less.
- Long-term discount—20% discount applied to room charges ONLY
- A long-term discount on meals is not available.

YOUTH ACTIVITIES SAFETY POLICY
All events sponsored by a UNL department and/or taking place on campus with participants who are 18 or younger are considered a youth event. All youth events must fully comply with UNL's Youth Activity Safety Policy

YOUTH MEDICAL TREATMENT
UNL’s Youth Activity Safety Policy requires that all events have a plan to provide medical treatment to youth participants. The Lincoln community offers a variety of treatment facilities including urgent care, hospitals, and the University Health Center. Each facility will have its own procedures and policies regarding gaining consent to treat youth. Most importantly, please make sure that each youth has the contact info for their parents/guardians on their person at all times and that the chaperones with the event have this information readily available.
