When is Guest Housing available?
Guest Housing is available each summer from late May to early August. Please contact the Guest Housing Manager (guesthousing@ unl.edu) for availability.

How do I make a reservation?
You may submit a request online using the Guest Housing Reservation Form.

Do I need to make a deposit to hold my reservation?
No deposits or advance payments are required.

What forms of payment are accepted?
Credit cards and advance payments are preferred, and can be paid on-line once your reasons and dates of stay are approved. Cash or check payment for the full amount can be paid upon arrival, if prior notice is provided. Charges can also be billed to a University account with departmental authorization.

What is included in the room?
Your room will be furnished with one twin extra-long bed, complete with linens, a desk and a dresser. During the academic year there are gendered community restrooms and showers on the floor. During the summer, your suite features a living area with couch and television stand (television not provided), bathroom with shower, toilet and sinks, and snack area with refrigerator, sink and microwave.

Is there an internet connection in my room?
Both wired and wireless connections are available on a complimentary basis. You must register with the campus network. Instructions are available at the front desk.

What time can I check in?
You may check in as early as 2:00 p.m. on your day of arrival. Our desk is open 24 hours a day, so you can check in at any time, day or night.

Can I bring my child? Or my pet?
We are happy to accommodate children over the age of five. Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Pets are not allowed in Guest Housing.

What can I do for meals?
If you would like a meal plan (breakfast, lunch and dinner each day), check "meal plan" on the reservation form.

Are alcoholic beverages allowed?
Per campus regulations, consumption or possession of alcoholic beverages is prohibited on campus.

What if I need to cancel?
We request notification of cancellation no later than 48 hours before time of arrival.

What is the refund policy?
Once payment has been processed, we are unable to offer refunds. If you are unsure of your date of departure, please contact the Guest Housing Manager to discuss more flexible payment options.
